SOPHIE WOODWARD

I don’t know about ya’ll, but spring has sprung over here in Atlanta, and spring looks are in full force. Today I’m super excited to be featured on Le Blog over at Molly Green. It’s such a huge honor to work with them and I can’t wait to share with you how I styled some of the items from their spring collection.

Before we get into it, I want to introduce myself and let you all know why I’m here. My name is Sophie and if you would have asked me when I was ten what I wanted to be when I grow up, I would have said, without hesitation, “a fashion designer.” While I didn’t end up taking that exact route when I got to college, I decided to pursue graphic design. The rise of social media has really pushed my creative mind back toward the fashion industry. I launched my blog Obsessively Sophie in June 2017 as a way to combine my graphic design skills, styling secrets, and seasonal trend obsessions with the world. My ultimate goal is to inspire and empower individuals to be themselves, chase their dreams, and wear that outfit even if they think they can’t pull it off.

My current obsessions for this season are turtlenecks and bright pops of color, so when I found the “Sydney Sweater” and the “Meyer Bootie” at Molly Green, I was hooked. I’ve always been a huge advocate for self-expression through style and Molly Green makes it SO easy and more importantly SO affordable for those of us (like me) bloggin’ on a budget. I LOVE that Molly Green emphasizes “no rules” when it comes to styling outfits. Basically, wear whatever you want, whenever you want, as long as you’re comfortable and happy. This is something that I strive to carry over into my wardrobe.

If you looked at my closet, you’d pretty much see half of it is black and the other half is white. But when you get down to my shoes, hats, and accessories, that’s where the fun stuff kicks in, the “me” stuff. I keep up with current trends (all hail the baker boy hat) but when I plan out an outfit, I throw my own twist into it. I love a simple outfit with a super fun pair of booties and some sunglasses. The “Meyer Bootie” is the perfect addition to my shoe collection; bright red with a two-inch block heel. They’re perfect to dress up or wear with a casual pair of jeans and a striped t-shirt. The “Sydney Sweater” on the other hand is a spring staple. You can’t go wrong with a white sweater (or two, or three) for your spring wardrobe. The bell sleeves, crop, and turtleneck are the perfect combo!
